Guns N' Roses have finally agreed to come and play in the Russian capital, reports Prime Time Russia. They will be "knocking on heaven's door" in Moscow during their first-ever gig at the Olympiysky Stadium on June 8. more

Metallica aren't letting a little volcanic ash wreck their European tour - they've taken to the continent's roads and railways to get to their Lithuanian and Russian shows this week. Last week's eruption of the Eyjafjallajokull volcano in Iceland caused air traffic chaos across Europe as thick clouds of ash prompted the cancellation of 63,000 flights over the weekend. more

Phoenix will score the new Sophia Coppola film. Guitarist Christian Mazzalai tells MTV, "She asked us to do some music, very in the spirit of 'Love Like a Sunset,' so we tried to put that track and elements of the track in the movie, and it worked well," explained Mazzalai. "And then we wrote very small pieces of music, very minimal music for the movie too. � We're very proud of it." more
