Iron Butterfly To Be Honored at San Diego Music Awards

The ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 12, at the scenic outdoor concert venue, Humphrey's Concerts by the Bay. 27.

Awards will be given out in categories ranging from "Best Jazz" to "Best Hard Rock Album," with live performances from: The Night Marchers, Nervous Wreckords, Maren Parusel, New Mexico, Miss Erika Davies and Transfer. A Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to legendary performers, Iron Butterfly.

The event is open to the public, with proceeds from this San Diego Music Foundation event going to the Taylor Guitars in Schools program, bringing music back to elementary schools throughout San Diego County.
