Bret Michaels Wants Five Million Bucks for Canceled Gig

. (Gibson) According to the Hollywood Reporter, Bret Michaels is filing a $5 million lawsuit against a concert promoter, Michael Banks and Aloha Events of Syracuse, New York.

The promoter allegedly postponed an August 5 concert, without Michaels' knowledge, because he believed the Poison star was appearing on TV at the same time. Michaels' TV appearance on America's Got Talent was taped in advance.

According to the complaint filed in U.S. District Court in New York, Michaels says that while he was not paid his concert deposits, he still turned up as scheduled. - more on this story
