. Rush did something special for Chicago fans on Monday night when they played a makeup gig in the windy (and previously rainy) city. Tony K reports: a local radio DJ took to the stage. He announced the band and their management have made special one-of-a-kind baseball hats for the crowd as a "thank you" for coming back for the rescheduled show. On the back of it, stitched in was "The Rain Date Chicago-2010", making this an immediate collectible. more Stone Sour, the side project from Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor, have announced a free concert set to take place on August 30th, 2010 in New York City at The Studio at Webster Hall. more Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson reveals he was once asked to star in a gruesome reality show but insists he's ruled out ever performing or mentoring on TV contests like Simon Cowell's U.K. series "The X Factor". Dickinson tells Britain's The Sun, "We would never do a TV show like X Factor and we would never play Glastonbury. I cannot stand X Factor." more. The guest musician is a female Canadian pop singer/songwriter who goes by the stage name Lights. more Say Anything tells fans, "A couple of weeks ago my manager Jordan called me up and let me know we were finally out of our contract with RCA, a partnership that's lasted about half a decade. Carrabba was the band's original vocalist but left the group after his solo project Dashboard Confessional started to take off. more Megadeth is confirmed to headline six festival shows this December in New Zealand and Australia for the No Sleep Til tour, a touring festival more Jaxin Hall, bassist (and a founding member) of California band Of Mice & Men, has left the group to focus on his clothing company. more Bad Reputation Records will be reissuing Cinderella's multi-platinum album 'Long Cold Winter' in September. The new CD will feature five live tracks, "Push Push", "Once Around The Ride", "Shake Me", "Galaxy Blues" and "Jumpin' Jack Flash". more Weezer are looking to play a couple of their albums completely in concert on an upcoming tour. Frontman Rivers Cuomo told MTV that the band plans to play all of their 1996 album Pinkerton, which is being reissued on October 5. Weezer are also looking to play their 1994 self-titled debut, known to fans as the "Blue Album." more Armored Saint will be playing at The Avalon in Santa Clara, CA on Saturday, October 16th.
