Guns N' Roses, Chili Peppers, Heaven and Hell and Scorpions Stars To Tribute Led Zeppelin's John Bonham
. The Daily Express reports that former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler, Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith, Heaven and Hell man Vinny Appice and Scorpion James Kottak will be part of the tribute show, entitled Bonzo: The Groove Remains the Same, at the Key Club in Hollywood on September 25. The event has been organized by Whitesnake drummer Brian Tichy, who told Blabbermouth.net: "Not a day goes by where I don't think of John Bonham's snare sound, and it hit me 'Why isn't there a Bonzo tribute where every drummer gets up... and plays their favorite Zeppelin song?' I thought of all the drummers I know that worship at the altar of John Bonham and being in L.A., there are so many here." - more on this story
