Corey Taylor Denies New Slipknot Album Plans

.
(Rock AAA) Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor says there is no new album in the works despite claims made by drummer Joey Jordison.

Bassist Paul Gray's death in May forced the band onto hiatus. Taylor has frequently suggested he's unsure about the outfit's future, but Jordison said a new record would be released next year.

Taylor says, "Before anyone gets the wrong idea, let me be clear. I have NO PLANS to make a new Slipknot album any time soon. Shows? Maybe. Album? No. As for Joey's comments, he took that on himself to say that. I can think of five people in this band who haven't written or heard a thing." -
