Jim Morrison Wrongly Accused of Indecent Exposure?
. Morrison was arrested, charged and convicted of indecent exposure after a police investigation into the Doors' infamous concert at the Dinner Key Auditorium. Inspired by a play he'd seen recently, the drunk Morrison attempted to incite a riot amongst the audience of 12,000, who'd been crammed into a 7000-capacity venue without air conditioning. He was sentenced to six months in prison and a $500 fine, and the band suffered a series of tour date cancellations in the aftermath. But Morrison died while the case was being appealed. - RockAAA.com is an official news provider for the Day in Rock. Preview and Purchase Jim Morrison CDs |
