Eric Clapton To Auction His Guitars For Crossroads Rehab
BBC News reports that Clapton will sell more than 150 pieces at an auction in London and will feature a collection of amps and speakers including Marshall speaker cabinets he used while playing with Derek and the Dominos – which are expected to bring in more than $7,000.
There also will be guitars donated by Jeff Beck and Joe Bonamassa for sale. Stephanie Connell, at Bonhams, said, "We are delighted to be offering such a fantastic collection of guitars and amps from such an iconic musician and hope the auction will raise a lot of money for this worthwhile cause." more on this story
