Moe Green, yU, Roc Marciano, X.O. on Iconocastic

The first of three contributions from the Mello Music Group crew is up next and yU of Diamond District fame kills it over a sample-heavy SlimKat78-produced beat. Roc Marciano, X.O. and Tranqill follow with the titular track from a recently released Mello compilation album and collaborate with producer Apollo Brown for "Helpless Dreamer." While some may be familiar with the next track, Boog Brown's "Understanding," the soulful tune is presented here in a whole new light thanks to Audible Doctor's remix, layering sparse vocal samples to achieve a different ambience entirely.
