Courtney To Sell Off Cobain Rights? (Top Story)
. Cobain was found dead of a shotgun injury in 1994, leaving widow Courtney in possession of the rights to his songs. After years of attempting to protect those financial interests from a wide range of people she believes has been stealing from her, she now says she's planning to sell the rights on, so she can start her own life again. "I'm thinking about selling all of Kurt's rights everything. It's not a financial decision. It's an emotional one," Courtney tells the Scotsman. "He was the best friend I ever had, but Kurt and I were only married for three years, and now I need to have my own life. I'm always the widow and that drives me nuts." - RockAAA.com is an official news provider for the Day in Rock. Preview and Purchase Nirvana CDs |
