Priscilla Remembers Elvis

. (Gibson) In anticipation of what would have been Elvis Presley's 76th birthday on January 8, USA Weekend sat down with Presley's ex-wife, Priscilla, to reminisce about The King. The Naked Gun actress is currently (in her role with Elvis Presley Enterprises) working with Cirque du Soleil on a new Las Vegas show, Viva ELVIS. In the interview, she spoke on a variety of topics.

On what fans might not know about Elvis: "He admired other entertainers and wasn't threatened by their coming to Vegas. Elvis always felt there was room for everyone. Tom Jones, Cher, Nancy Sinatra � he was right there to help."

On her favorite Elvis song: "'Bridge over Troubled Water.' We were in Vegas when the horse he had gifted me passed away. He sang that song to me. Every time I hear it, that's what I think of." more on this story
