.
Police Officer Protests Jim Morrison Pardon was a Top story this week . Here is the recap: (Rock AAA) Doors frontman Jim Morrison was officially pardoned for his indecent exposure conviction in 1970 despite the attempts of a police officer to keep the record enforced.

Outgoing Florida governor Charlie Crist headed the clemency board meeting, which as its final act in office pardoned the singer for events at Miami's Dinner Key Auditorium 40 years ago.

But former Miami cop Angel Lago, a close friend of the officer who arrested Morrison, protested the move even though his arguments had nothing to do with whether or not an offence had been committed. He said: "My objection is that the gentleman showed no remorse for a pardon. He didn't change his lifestyle at all and eventually his drug use killed him in a Paris bar bathroom from a heroin overdose. -
