Bad Lieutenant's Bernard Sumner Announces Tour Dates was a top story for this week. Here it is again: Bad Lieutenant, the project formed in 2007 by New Order's Bernard Sumner (guitar, vocals) and Phil Cunningham (guitar), along with Jake Evans (guitar, vocals), is thrilled to announce that the band is coming to America to play four dates that will include a special appearance at the Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival (4/17). Shows in San Francisco (4/16), Chicago (4/19) and New York (4/21) are also now confirmed. These dates will mark Bad Lieutenant's U.S. concert debut and are in support of the band's first album, Never Cry Another Tear, which was released last October through Original Signal Recordings. "As promised," said Bad Lieutenant's Bernard Sumner, "we are coming to the U.S. to play our re-scheduled dates in Chicago and New York with the addition of the Coachella Festival and a concert in San Francisco. We are really looking forward to playing our songs live for our fans in the U.S. It's been some quite time since I have played in America, and we are all very excited about the prospect." - more on this story
