Morakestra Going Hollywood in Support of Jim Ward Produced Album

We have seen time and time again that musical talent can run in families, but David and Will Mora take this phenomenon to a new level. The gifted musicians are twin brothers, born and raised in El Paso, Texas. Their musical abilities were recognized at an early age, and with the help and support of local musical legends, the duo went on to form Morakestra, a melodic alternative rock quartet with a captivating and inspired sound.
The talented twins will be bringing their live act to the stages of Southern California for two shows in the next month: January 15th at The Roxy Theatre, and Januar7 17th at The Viper Room.
With the release of its second album, "Witness to Connection," in June 2009, Morakestra took great strides in their musical maturity. Recorded and produced by Jim Ward (founder of bands such as At the Drive-In, Sparta, and Sleepercar) with the help of partner Gabe Gonzalez (best known for his work with acts like Girl in a Coma), the album is made up of energetic, driving guitars, catchy melodies, and sincere vocals, that can be attributed to the Mora brothers and their passion for and dedication to the music they love to play.
Morakestra has also released a video for their song "Tell You Something" that stars Megalyn Echikunwoke (CSI Miami) and was directed by Tao Ruspoli (director of Fix
