Blink-182's Mark Hoppus provided a little information on his collaboration with Pete Wentz with this twitter post: "The song that PeteW and I collabed on is for the Alice in Wonderland soundtrack"

Mastodon are going Hollywood - the band has reportedly signed on to write the score for new comic book movie "Jonah Hex". Josh Brolin and Megan Fox are already lined up to star in the movie adaptation of the DC comic more

Slipknot recently issued a short film for the song 'Snuff', taken from their latest album All Hope Is Gone (watch it here). On January 12th fans will be able to purchase the film via iTunes.

Cheap Trick is the first announced headliner for the SXSW Music Festival. Not many details are known yet but organizers praised the band with this: Since the '70s the band has been blending elements of pop, punk and even metal in a way that is catchy and instantly recognizable. more
