Dave Matthews Band will launch an extensive North American summer tour with a two-night stand at The Comcast Theatre in Hartford, CT (May 28th and 29th)The group's Platinum-certified 2009 album, Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King (RCA), is nominated for two GRAMMY awards - "Album Of The Year" and "Best Rock Album." Dave Matthews Band will perform at the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards, held this Sunday, January 31st, at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. The show will be broadcast live in HDTV and 5.1 Surround Sound on CBS from 8 - 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
The band will launch a month-long European tour in Hamburg, Germany on February 16th. North American tour dates are printed below. *The 8/17 show is a free concert with tickets initially being offered to those individuals who purchased tickets to the band's cancelled 2009 USANA Amphitheatre concert. Those individuals who purchased tickets for last year's concert will be contacted with details on how to obtain their free tickets. After the initial offering to the 2009 ticket holders tickets will be made available to the general public through a special offering to be announced..
