Jaron and The Long Road to Love Top Country Chart
. Jaron And The Long Road To Love's freshman album, Getting Dressed In The Dark, lands at #2 this week on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, behind only super group Lady Antebellum's smash Need You Now. The release ranks higher in its inaugural week than any other title this year from a new act. Jaron's world is only getting bigger as his success accelerates; this week his debut single "Pray For You" increases within the Top 15 at Country radio and his video propels to #6 on CMT's Top 20 Countdown. "Pray For You" recently spent four consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart before moving into the Top 40's of the Hot 100 chart and the single is currently a Country charts Top 15 hit and rising. The "Pray for You" video, featuring Jamie Pressly, has become a hit on CMT and GAC and was number one on MySpace country videos for three weeks straight. Jaron Lowenstein, born in Tucker, Georgia, was originally best known as half of the singer/songwriter duo Evan & Jaron in which he performed with his twin brother Evan. Evan & Jaron caught their big break when they played at Buffett's Margaritaville Key West which lead to a touring gig with Buffett himself. Stardom soon followed: Evan & Jaron's self-titled album released in 2000, caught fire in 2001 on the Dawson's Creek Soundtrack and spawned three Top 40 its, including "Crazy for This Girl," which climbed to No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. In addition to Buffett, they toured with Sting and the Dixie Chicks. Additionally, they were chosen as two of People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People."
