A featured placement on Fox's So You Think You Can Dance last week has paid off big for indie musician Christina Perri. Her song "Jar of Hearts" rapidly climbed the iTunes Charts last week, following the broadcast.

The track has gone on to sell an astonishing 47,624 copies in its first week and debuts at #26 on the Billboard Singles Sales Chart.

Steven Schillaci (Celebrity Talent Producer for both SYTYCD and American Idol) comments, "The reaction to the song has been overwhelming. I've seldom seen a song connect like this. I'll be booking Christina Perri for years to come."

"Jar of Hearts", which rallied as high as #13 on the iTunes overall chart during the holiday weekend, has had no radio play to date. Strong featuring on iTunes and instant word-of-mouth through social media sites drove the song to chart alongside the likes of Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Maroon 5. A video posting, which shows only the single's cover with audio of the single, is now at over 200,000 plays on YouTube.

Perri, who has supported her career by waitressing up until this week, is now working with management company Bill Silva Entertainment, which also represents Jason Mraz. On a lark, she passed an early demo of the song onto a friend, who put it in the hands of SYTYCD choreographer Stacey Tookey. It landed on the SYTYCD just over a week later.

Perri is currently meeting with record labels and will make her television performance debut on CBS' The Early Show this week (July 10th).
