According to Tvlatest.com, Poison singer Bret Michaels is reportedly out of the running to be Simon Cowell's replacement on American Idol. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Chris Isaak has been floated as a possible contender for the judging gig. more

Our friends over at The 1st Five had this bit of news on Friday: There has been a rumor going around the internet today that Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato passed away last night. We contacted the band's press representatives and were told, "Greg is very much alive… thanks!" more

Lambgoat reports that details are sketchy, but it appears that at least two members of Orlando, Florida band Catalepsy were arrested and jailed on Wednesday night near Hooligans's Pub & Music Hall in Jacksonville, NC. The arrests were apparently drug-related and the group's van was subsequently possessed by authorities. The band sent them a statement, you can read it here

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Rita Miller blamed attorneys for Rose and Irving Azoff for problems during a recent deposition that Azoff's attorneys suspended before it was over. more
