Don't Quit Your Daydream With Adrian Grenier and The Good Listeners
. Don't Quit Your Daydream is the story of two musicians, both approaching 40, unwilling to give up their dream of becoming rock stars. The duo set off to accomplish what many rendered impossible record an entire album on the road with complete strangers while documenting each encounter. Leaving their day jobs behind, they embarked on a 24-day cross-country road trip to record and film both the album and documentary, Don't Quit Your Daydream. While visiting 12 cities across America, they recorded their music with local musicians including Bingo Richey in Joshua Tree, CA, Bugs Salcido on an art ranch in Marfa, TX. Adrian Grenier also joined them and performed at a barn in Lexington, KY. Don't Quit Your Daydream made its festival debut at the 2010 Nashville Film Festival where The Good Listeners were awarded the Special Jury Prize. With each view, the film continues to gain momentum and connect with fellow musicians, critics and music fans nationwide.
