The Master Plan return after a six-year hiatus with the release of their sophomore album, Maximum Respect, which hits stores today.

The new album features a dozen instant garage rock classics captured in the studio, as well as a sizzling CD-only live bonus track.

Special guest Dave Faulkner (Hoodoo Gurus' lead singer) joins the party for one song, Feels Good To Feel, the video of which has already had thousands of hits on YouTube (here) and has become a favorite on Little Steven's Underground Garage.

Formed in 2003 by Dictators bassist/chief songwriter Andy Shernoff, Fleshtones guitarist Keith Streng, Fleshtones drummer Blll Milhizer and Waxing Poetics guitarist Paul Johnson, The Master Plan have been entertaining rock and roll diehards off and on (as touring and work schedules permit) ever since.

Their debut album, Colossus Of Destiny was released to critical fanfare on Total Energy in 2004, and in 2009 they ventured back in the studio to record their new opus, Maximum Respect.
