Describing the music as "Nature Techno" (due to its blend of organic instrumentation and electronic, dance-friendly textures), Tunstall co-wrote several tracks with A-list songwriter/producers Linda Perry and Greg Kurstin, as well as her long-time collaborators Martin Terefe and Jimmy Hogarth, both of whom contributed to Drastic Fantastic and its predecessor, 2006's platinum-seller Eye To The Telescope.

Next month, Tunstall will perform during "WNBA vs. USA Basketball: The Stars at the Sun" halftime presentation. This marquee event will showcase the world's best female basketball players under one roof when the WNBA's top talent faces the USA Basketball Women's National Team at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on Saturday, July 10 and will be televised nationally on ESPN at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Tunstall will be in the US for press days from July 10th through July 18th. She will also perform two special solo shows that week: July 13th at New York City's Hiro Ballroom and July 15th at the Hotel Café in Los Angeles.
