Autopsy results show that Paul Gray of Slipknot died of an accidental overdose of morphine and fentanyl, a synthetic morphine substitute, police said Monday. Gray, 38, was found dead in a suburban Des Moines hotel room on May 25. more

Beach Boys' Mike Love told the Las Vegas Sun that Brian Wilson will reunite with the group to mark the 50th anniversary of their inception. Love still performs under the Beach Boys name alongside another veteran member, Bruce Johnston. more

Soundgarden will have a previously unreleased track featured in the upcoming Guitar Hero: Warriors Of Rock game, marking the band's first new song in 13 years. The track, titled "Black Rain," will be featured in the game that hits stores on September 21. more

Silverstein's Shane Told tells Chartattack that the band have started working their next album, having already completed the music for 15 to 16 new songs, with six or seven of those tunes also having accompanying vocals.
