Eminem and Jay-Z Surprise Gig To Air This Friday
. The early evening performance took place upon the rooftop of the Ameritania Hotel which is located at 230 West 54th Street in Manhattan. The hotel shares a common roof with the famous Ed Sullivan Theater, home of the Letterman show. The performance was meant to be unannounced, but as with any New York minute, word spread quickly. Manhattan-based hotelier Hank Freid, owner of the Ameritania Hotel, along with several other boutique hotels, threw an intimate party from the property rooftop to share in the entertainment and excitement. "It was the experience of a lifetime," one guest quoted. "Jay Z and Eminem performing live on top of the greatest city in the world!"
