Donavon Frankenreiter Summer Tour was a top story. Here it is again: Donavon Frankenreiter has announced his summer tour plans which are in support of his releases Revisited (June 15th) and upcoming LP Glow (Fall).
"I am so excited to get back to the east coast to play some music and catch some waves. We will be performing songs off the Revisited record that is all Hawaiian style and our upcoming album Glow, " says Donavon.
After moving to Hawaii two years ago Donavon could not help but notice how beautiful the Hawaiian music was. Inspired by his surroundings, he went into a studio in Kauai and picked 10 songs off his first album to re-record with a Hawaiian feel-using ukulele, lap steel, slack key guitar and other Hawaiian instruments. "It was so much fun to go and revisit an album I had done in Hawaii six years earlier but with a different feel. I hope you enjoy revisiting these songs with some Hawaiian instruments as much as we did," Donavon says. - more on this story
