Slash's Snakepit Frontman Returns With Charity Single from One-Off Band With Eddie Brnabic
. The track was recorded in January 2010 by one of Jackson's current producer/collaborators, guitarist Eddie Brnabic at his studio "The Validity Room" in Hollywood,Ca. The band, featuring Rod Jackson (Slash's Snakepit) on vocals, Eddie Brnabic (Beggars Ball) on lead & rhythm guitars and drums, Kevin Briggs (Healamonster & Tarsier) on bow, & Aj Briggs on bass, will appear as "The S.A.F. Project" on the compilation and it will be available exclusively on iTunes. The S.A.F Project is a "one-off" collaboration project that consists of Rod Jackson (Slash's Snakepit) on Vocals, Eddie Brnabic (Beggars Ball) on Lead/Rhythm Guitar, & Drums, Kevin Briggs (Molly Gunner / Healamonster & Tarsier) on Guitar & Bow, and AJ Briggs (Molly Gunner) on Bass. The members came together to complete a cover version of Sam Cooke's "A Change Is Gonna Come" in January 2010, in honor of the release of the "Uncovering A Cure" compilation which they were asked to be a part of. Aside from The S.A.F. Project, Singer Rod Jackson & Eddie Brnabic are currently collaborating on some material for a full-length LP as well as working on their own solo records which will both be released sometime this year. Kevin Briggs is also currently at work on his own solo record as well as performing with Los Angeles based electronic band Healamonster & Tarsier.
