With his breakthrough single "The Call" steadily making its way up the country charts, BamaJam Records artist Matt Kennon is set to release the digital-only The Call EP on Tuesday, March 9.

The EP will be available on iTunes, Amazon.com and all other key digital outlets and will include the title track along with "The Man I Used To Be" and "Some People Piss Me Off", two tracks from Kennon's forthcoming debut album.

"I'm just really excited to get this EP out there and be able to share some more of my record with people who have been introduced to my music through "The Call"," explains Kennon. "I think these three songs will give people a pretty good sense of what I'm all about."

The impact of "The Call" has been widespread, touching not only country music fans but also those in the media as well. After a recent performance on Fox & Friends, Kennon received a call from former Tennessee Senator and U.S. Presidential candidate Fred Thompson and his wife Jeri, asking him to appear on their nationally syndicated radio show. On air, Jeri told Kennon, "I was so taken aback by the emotion in your voice and the beauty of the song. It's so wonderful to hear someone write a song like this."

Kennon self-titled debut album is scheduled for release May 11 on BamaJam Records through RED Distribution.
