. Following rowdy shows at SXSW, scorching gigs across the country, and immense support from the media, The Chevelles play Brooklyn's Bell House this Thursday, 3/25, along with 11 other Aussie bands. The Houston Chronicle called The Chevelles the "top pick" of ALL the artists visiting Houston around SxSW. There's no doubt The Chevelles will be the highlight of the festivities at The Bell House as well. The Chevelles have played over 1000 live shows since four long-haired West Australian kids crawled out of the surf in 1990, determined to share their version of revivalist 60's psychedelia and post punk garage rock and roll. Their party anthem "Get It On" was featured in the "Rock Band 2" video game while a single called "Get Back To New York City" was broadcast on FOX during the MLB World Series.
