Bret Michaels was readmitted to the hospital this week after suffering numbness on the left side of his body, predominately his face and hands which doctors described as a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) or warning stroke. While MRI and CT scan tests were being conducted, Michaels also received a Doppler Ultrasound of his legs and lower abdomen looking for blood clots and most importantly an Ultrasound Bubble Test of his heart was conducted which proved positive for a Patent Forum Ovale (PFO), a hole in the heart. more

Guns N' Roses tour manager Rod MacSween tells GNRDaily that the band's upcoming European Tour is not canceled: "(What, Helsinki performance cancelled?) - No, of course not. I have no idea where this comes from. The tour is happening, they begin in Bergen, Norway on May 31st and we'll see you in Helsinki on June 5th!" more

The Dead Weather are set to headline Poland's Open'er Festival. NME reports that Jack White's band will top the bill on July 4, joining fellow headliners Kasabian, Pearl Jam and Massive Attack. more

Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliot marked a milestone yesterday with these words: "30 years ago to the day, five young boys got on an aeroplane for the very first time and flew to America (LAX to be precise) in preparation for their first ever US show opening for Pat Travers at the Santa monica Civic (May 20th). 30 years on and three of us are still around.....but I remember it like it was yesterday. Sigh....."
