Pulp Reunite was a top 10 story this week . Here is the recap: (Gibson) Britpop greats Pulp have announced a run of reunion shows for 2011, according to Billboard.com. The Sheffield band have been on hiatus since 2002 and frontman Jarvis Cocker has been working as a solo artist ever since.

The band's 2011 shows will reunite Pulp's original lineup, who have not been onstage together since 1996. Pulp said that they "decided to get together and play some concerts next summer," in a statement. So far, the band's confirmed appearances are Barcelona's Primavera Sound Festival on May 27 and Live Nation's London festival Wireless with Barclaycard on July 3.

There have also been rumors that Pulp will play at next summer's Glastonbury Festival. They last performed there in 1995. - more on this story
