(Gibson) A deal is reportedly being worked out to bring The Rolling Stones to Coachella in 2011. Hits Daily Double says that, according to sources, the festival is "very close to finalizing a deal" with the world famous rock and rollers.

According to the site's Rumor Mill section, the headlining slot would earn Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and pals $5 million. Reportedly, that's $1.5 million more than Coachella shelled out for another British invader rock legend Paul McCartney.

The California music festival officially known as Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival takes place every April. The fest has often scored big-name acts to appear at the three-day event. McCartney, Prince, Sly Stone and Madonna have performed at Coachella in recent years. -
