Special Dave Koz Hometown Christmas Time Shows
. On November 26th, he'll kick off the 13th anniversary edition of the Dave Koz and Friends A Smooth Jazz Christmas tour with special guests South African singer/guitarist Jonathan Butler, keyboardist Brian Culbertson and Dutch saxophone star Candy Dulfer. The foursome will play Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on December 19th. On Sunday, November 21st, the gifted saxophonist will perform at the annual Christmas Tree Lighting event at The Grove, which will be hosted by Mario Lopez of the nationally syndicated magazine series "Extra." Dave Koz and Friends - tour mates Jonathan Butler, Brian Culbertson and Candy Dulfer - will open and close the festivities with an assortment of holiday songs. Dave will also play a selection from Hello Tomorrow. "Extra" will air highlights from the Grove Christmas Tree Lighting throughout the week of November 29 - December 5. "Extra's" weekend edition, airing December 4th and 5th, will give fans a more extensive look at the event. Koz, who recently received the "Entertainer of the Year" award at the 1st Annual American Smooth Jazz Awards, will perform on the telecast of the Hollywood Christmas Parade, airing in Los Angeles on KTLA the CW Channel 5 on Friday, December 17th, from 8-10 p.m. PST. It will also air on the Hallmark Channel on Friday, December 10th, from 8-10 a.m. PST/EST and again on the Hallmark Movie Channel on Friday, December 10th, from 8-10 p.m. PST/EST. The show will also be syndicated nationally throughout December with varying airdates across the country. The parade has been a beloved American tradition for more than 80 years.
