Pink Floyd not only unleashed a rock classic when they put out The Dark Side of the Moon in 1973, they created a monster. While it would only hold the #1 spot for a week, it would go on to become one of the biggest selling albums in music history, remaining on the Billboard 200 chart for the next 15 years.
