Nelly Furtado Does Rush

. (hennemusic) Canadian pop diva Nelly Furtado covers the Rush classic, "Time Stand Still," as part of the soundtrack for the new film, "Score: A Hockey Musical."

Furtado has a cameo in the movie, which stars Olivia Newton-John and singer/songwriter Marc Jordan ("Rhythm of My Heart"), newcomers Noah Reid and Allie MacDonald.

Along with Nelly Furtado's cover of the Rush song, the album includes 20 original songs by Barenaked Ladies, Hawksley Workman, Olivia Newton-John, Marc Jordan and Amy Sky, with lyrics by filmmaker Michael McGowan. - more on this story
