Dimebag's Murder Getting Harder For Pantera Frontman

Philip Anselmo is reflective about his former Pantera bandmate Darrell 'Dimebag' Abbott, who was murdered on stage almost six years ago and says the loss of Dimebag gets harder with every passing anniversary. Rock Radio reports:

Speaking just after what would have been Dimebag's 44th birthday, and ahead of the sixth anniversary of his on-stage shooting in December 2004, Anselmo says the imminent re-release of classic album Cowboys From Hell makes the memories even more poignant.

"Every year gets harder. Every year the dates roll by and it gets harder. This past year has been the hardest of all. I think initially, in the first two years, it was just a shock. It was very hard to comprehend," He tells Icon Vs Icon. "But I get it now. I understand it. I think about what could be and I think about Dimebag every day of my life. So, no, it doesn't get any easier." - more on this story
