Fountains Of Wayne Announce Fall Tour

. Fountains Of Wayne have announced a select run of dates in late September and early October on the east and west coasts.

The shows will include songs from their nearly-completed new album, the long-awaited follow up to 2007's Traffic And Weather, due for release early next year.

Marshall Crenshaw and Jill Sobule will open on select dates.

The dates are:

Oct 1 - Los Angeles, CA - Troubador
Oct 2 - San Francisco, CA - Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival
Oct 4, 5 - Alexandria, VA - Birchmere
Oct 7 - New York, NY - Bowery Ballroom
Oct 8 - Boston, MA - Paradise
Oct 9 - Northampton, MA - Pearl Street
Oct 12 - Sellersville, PA - Sellersville Theater
Oct 13 - Pawtucket, RI - Met Cafe
Oct 14 - Portland, ME - Port City Music Hall
