. (Gibson) The home that Jerry Garcia owned at the time of his death in 1995 is up for sale. The former abode of the Grateful Dead frontman is being sold for about $4 million, according to Zillow.com.

The Mediterranean-style house is located in Nicasio, California, which is about 30 miles north of San Francisco. The 7,000-plus-square-foot home includes five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a family room with a movie screen, a swimming pool and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, Mount Tamalpais and downtown Berkeley.

Singer-guitarist Garcia led Rock and Roll Hall of Famers the Grateful Dead for three decades. He was staying at a drug rehabilitation facility when he died of a heart attack on August 9, 1995. - more on this story
