(Gibson) As Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood prepares the release of his new solo album, I Feel Like Playing, the incorrigible musician has been talking to the U.K.'s Mirror.co.uk about his long relationship with the Stones. Wood says, "I always knew, even when I was at school, that I was going to be in the Stones, too. I saw them at the Richmond Jazz and Blues Festival and I was the last one out of the tent. I knew then that this was the band for me."

Wood joined the band as a guitarist in 1976 and in 1990 became a fully fledged partner of the group. "Yes, they are stuck with me now," he said. "They have to live with it, like it or not. I even know most of the songs better than Keith does.

"He asks me what the chords are. I'll show him how to play one of his own songs and he'll say, 'Can you take me through that again?' He has a phrase: 'Just because I wrote it, doesn't mean I know it'." - more on this story
