Here it is again: The Day in Rock Digest for 9/1/10: Last year Stone Temple Pilots/ex-Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland surprised fans by releasing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" as a single (see story here). Now he apparently wants to do a full Christmas album. ExploreMusic's Alan Cross sat down with Weiland to talk about the launching of English Laundry apparel in Canada – and more specifically his own clothing line. Just to clarify, this is a demo track from the Cowboys From Hell demos. It was recorded in 1989 and was not included on the original release of Cowboys From Hell. Billboard reports: Their unisex scent, which comes in a striking, tartan-topped bottle featuring the band's classic "God Save the Queen" imagery, is a collaboration with Paris-based perfume brand Etat Libre d'Orange, which licensed the Sex Pistols name from the band's merchandising partner Live Nation Merchandise. more
