Duran Duran's Le Bon On The Mend, Band To Resume Touring

(Gibson) Duran Duran singer Simon Le Bon, who has been suffering from serious vocal and throat problems, appears to be on the mend.

According to the Daily Express, the band have announced a string of U.S. dates for September. The '80s superstars will play 24 U.S. dates, starting on September 23 in Everett, Washington, and finishing in in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on October 29.

Duran Duran had to cancel several shows on their recent U.K. tour after Le Bon suffered from a throat infection. Even after a three-week rest, he was unable to complete scheduled European dates and the band cancelled their summer tour last month. more on this story
