Katie Herzig Hits The Road

(Press Here) Katie Herzig hit the road for a North American tour on August 24th in Seattle, Washington. Herzig will headline venues with her band in addition to playing with Nashville's Ten Out of Tenn tour.

Katie's tour will coincide with the release of her most sophisticated work to date, The Waking Sleep, on September 20th through Downtown/Mercer Street Records.

The Waking Sleep delivers a profound and moving landscape of sound that highlight's Herzig's undeniable talent. The collection quickly illustrates Herzig as a hands-on artist who builds her songs in the same way she might mold a sculpture. Some of the stand-out tracks on the album include magnetic 'Make a Noise,' exhilarating 'Way to the Future' and heart-rending 'Closest I Get.' Katie's newest single, 'Free My Mind,' can be listened to on her website www.KatieHerzig.com. Herzig's 'Way To the Future' will also be released in stores and online on the Grey's Anatomy Original Soundtrack Volume 4 out September 13th.
