Doctor Orders Jane's Addiction To Cancel Appearances
. The NME reports the band had been set to headline the NME/Radio 1 Stage at Reading, but cancelled at the last minute, citing the severe swelling of Farrell's vocal chords as the reason for the drop-out. At Reading, Jane's guitarist Dave Navarro announced the band's cancellation from the stage. In a statement issued Sunday, the band said, "This morning in London, his doctor determined that Perry Farrell's vocal condition remains unchanged from last night.
