. The outdoor event, which emphasizes Louisiana-based artists from a wide variety of genres, will feature hundreds of acts on approximately a dozen stages. The 2012 festival extends through two weekends, from April 27 through May 6. Other nationally renowned acts who will accent the event include the Zac Brown Band, Al Green, Bonnie Raitt and My Morning Jacket. Still, roughly 85 percent of the lineup hails from Louisiana. "This festival really offers the best of both worlds," said Quint Davis, the festival's producer.
