CD for the Troops V Provided To 1 Million Service Members, Veterans, And Military Families

Operation Homefront, the non-profit that provides emergency financial and other assistance to military families and Wounded Warriors, today announced that with this month's release of "CD for the Troops V," the series of albums will have been provided to 1 million service members, veterans, and military families.

This fifth album includes songs from 11 artists, including Grammy Award-nominated John Ondrasik, to show their support for all service members and their families. Operation Homefront is a co-producer of the series.

"John Ondrasik's love for our military families and devotion to the welfare of our men and women in uniform comes through again in this fifth album," said Amy Palmer, Chief Operating Officer for Operation Homefront. "All of the talented artists who have lent their voices to 'CD for the Troops V' have shown their support for our military in an incredible way."

Service members or their spouses with valid military ID can order the CD at CDfortheTroops.com. The CD is free for all active military and is not available for sale to the public. More information about the album and links to their social networking sites are also at CDfortheTroops.com.

The track listing includes a total of 11 songs, showcasing a range of genres for all listeners to enjoy. In addition to Ondrasik, artists and bands contributing to the album are Chicago, Train, Sara Bareilles, REO Speedwagon, Shaggy, Matt Nathanson, Brett Dennen, Jack's Mannequin, Mayday Parade, and The Civil Wars.
