Elvis Costello's Wheel of Fortune Rolls On

(Gibson) In 1986, Elvis Costello embarked on a tour during which he kept a spinning wheel with song titles on stage. In between each performance, an audience member would spin the wheel and Elvis would perform whatever tune came up. For his upcoming tour, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is bringing back the wheel.

So far, Costello and the Imposters have announced 13 dates for their Revolver Tour. Each show will include songs selected by a spin of the wheel, which will feature 40 "hits, rarities and covers," according to a press release.

The audience member who spins the wheel will have the choice of stepping into a go-go cage and dancing during the performance, or enjoy refreshments at the onstage lounge. The wheel on the tour poster indicates a mixture of old and new Costello material, including "Accidents Will Happen," "National Ransom," "Spooky Girlfriend" and "Alison." more on this story
