. The Atlanta Journal -Constitution is reporting that blues guitar legend Eddie Kirkland, "The Gypsy Of The Blues", was killed Sunday morning in a Florida car wreck. The Jamaican-born Kirkland, 88, was a former bandleader for Otis Redding and recorded with John Lee Hooker, among others. Kirkland performed Saturday night at the Dunedin Brewery, outside of Tampa, according to his website. more The Music's Over reports that On February 24, 2011, Eddie Serrato, the original drummer for ? and the Mysterians ("96 Tears'), died of a heart attack at a hospital where he had been recuperating from an undisclosed surgery. He was 65. more Record producer Pat Moran who worked with Queen, Robert Plant, Iggy Pop and more has died according to Classic Rock. Here was 63. more Zakk Wylde has cleared up doubts surrounding the sudden departure of Black Label Society drummer Will Hunt. Wylde says, "Father Will had to take care of commitments he made with the Evanescence gang.
