On Tuesday Deep Purple Plan Record Store Day Retro Release was a top story. Here is the recap: (Rock AAA) Deep Purple are marking Record Store Day 2011 by releasing a 'retro' single containing "Hush" � recorded for Chris Grant's "Tasty Pop Sundae" in early 1969 � and "Speed King," recorded for Stuart Henry's "Noise At Nine" in October of that same year.

Both tracks are from the upcoming "BBC Sessions" project. The picture sleeve is based on the original Harvest art and will be unveiled next week.

The limited-edition single will be distributed to the participating indie shops in the U.K.; only 1400 copies will be pressed. - more on this story
