Circle Jerks, Joe Strummer, Throw Rag, Charley Horse Super Duo

. American Punk pioneers Zander Schloss (The Circle Jerks, Weirdos, Joe Strummer) and Sean Wheeler (Throw Rag, Charley Horse) have hooked up to create an album called "Walk Thee Invisible" and are holding an album release party tonight in Pioneer Town, California.

The album is billed as a hybrid of ragtime, bluegrass, folk, country, pop and gospel that includes the frenzied energy and spirit that the guys are known for but is executed with a dash of Americana charm not often heard west of the Mississippi.

In addition, the duo has partnered with PledgeMusic to raise funds for an extension of their European tour. Pledgers will receive a live, raw album recorded on the tour in addition to Pledgers-only updates which will include backstage photos, videos and blogs from the road. Fans can also pledge for handwritten lyric sheets, dinner with the guys, a guitar lesson, a signed guitar and a ton more cool things. Pledge page is here.
