Robert Plant To Turn Back To Songwriting for Next Band of Joy Album
. The album, released last fall, featured traditional tunes or songs by other writers and the same has gone for the tour so far although it also has included refashioned Led Zeppelin material and Plant solo songs. But, Plant says that it's all going to change with the next Band of Joy album: "We're talking, we have to write songs now. It's all very well celebrating other people's songwriting, and I know there are other artists who have had an entire career; whether it be Elvis [Presley or [Frank] Sinatra, or a lot of the country artists who never write. But we've got to be heading that way soon." more on this story Gibson.com is an official news provider for the Day in Rock. Preview and Purchase Robert Plant CDs |
