Jimmy Buffett Hospitalized For Stage Fall

. (Gibson) Jimmy Buffett has been hospitalized, following an incident on Wednesday (January 26) in which he fell from the stage during a concert in Australia.

Rolling Stone.com reports that the performer was playing "Lovely Cruise" during his encore in Sydney when he fell into a gap between the stage and the crowd.

Audience members have said that Buffett was walking along the edge of the stage when a flash of light went off, causing the disoriented singer to fall. According to reports, he was unconscious for five to 10 minutes and suffered a gash on his head from hitting a piece of metal. more on this story
